COMING TOGETHER WITH JESUIT MISSIONS TO TACKLE CLIMATE CHANGE

Leading Jesuit Primary Schools took part in the COP 26 Jesuit Missions Meeting

St John’s Head of Pupil Parliament attended and has shared the following account:

On Thursday 26th November we gathered to a Zoom call where we discussed the focal points of the COP 26 ( a conference between world leaders, discussing what can be done to purify our environment).

The call was led by Ciara from Educate Magis and Zoe from Jesuit Missions in the UK. We discussed the current issues many countries are facing regarding the environment, caring for our common home, conferred about what each school is doing to help and how we can be creative.

The new and improved Ecology Committee is ready to kickstart a sustainable school year.

For this term, our aim is to see how we can get creative and spread the word!
