CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR LAMDA BOYS!

Mr Jenkins is extremely proud of all the boys who recently completed the LAMDA examinations. All the boys received a Merit or Distinction in their subject and grade level which is an amazing achievement.

LAMDA is Ofqual recognised and is a ‘qualification’ that can be taken at four levels:

  • Entry Level
  • Level 1 – LAMDA Grades 1, 2 & 3
  • Level 2 – LAMDA Grades 4 & 5
  • Level 3 – LAMDA Grades 6, 7 & 8 (Bronze, Silver & Gold Medal Level)

As a simple comparison, LAMDA Level 2 is equivalent to a GCSE qualification and LAMDA Level 3 is equivalent to AS and A level.

A special commendation to Neal K who achieved a Distinction in his Level 3 Certificate in Performance, Acting Grade 6, Bronze Medal with his Macbeth monologue.

LAMDA’s exams are designed to recognise and reward the endeavours of each individual. Learners are awarded an official LAMDA certificate and a medal, where relevant, as well as constructive feedback in a written report to help them advance to the next level. Success in one of these exams demonstrates that learners have grown as individuals by participating in a worthwhile activity that is respected as a global standard.

If your son is interested in taking these lessons, please contact Mr Jenkins here.
