FSJB: YOU MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
Thank you very much: you make all the difference!
This year has been a busy one for FSJB as we decided to make the best of being able to get together again! We wanted to thank all the School community, from staff to boys and families for supporting our work and building stronger bonds and happy memories, as well as raising an amazing 17,000 pounds that will be enjoyed by GOSH, Ukranian refugees and the Jesuit missions. Thank you very much for your incredible generosity and for helping build happy memories together, improving the lives of people in need along the way.
We have loved to see all the school community involved, from the little ones with their Breakfast with Santa and the Easter Egg Hunt to the older boys and their Discos. We have also had the chance to come together as a whole school community with the very special outdoor Christmas Fayre in the woods and the super diverse World Food Day. Parents have also had the chance to have fun together in the Quiz Night and the Summer Party and we have spread the love of sport with family events like the tennis, cricket and golf family championships.
We are looking forward to more moments like these next year and be prepared to celebrate in style because next term we will be holding the super popular Christmas Ball. Tickets will be on sale in October.
Thank you and Farewell!
From the FSJB we want to wish all the school families a great Summer and bid our farewell to all the boys and family who will be leaving SJB next year, including the wonderful Rudiments boys, and their families. We wish you all the best for your new adventures and thank you for helping build SJB as it is today throughout your time here, it wouldn´t be the same without you!
We would like to bid a very special farewell to three of our treasured team members, whose sons are leaving school after a super successful journey at SJB. We will miss Marie Mylchreest, who has been Chair of the team for four years, whose incredible organisation skills and school knowledge have been put to work for the good of others raising over £100K during her time as an FSJB member; Labina Kar, whose energy, warmth and love will be very deeply missed and Debbie Papadopoulos whose kindness, nurture and happiness are second to none. Your dedication to others, also through the FSJB, has changed the lives of many, starting by the FSJB team. We wish you all the very best.
