NATIONWIDE MATHS COMPETITION WINNERS
Impressive results from our young mathematicians
St John’s Beaumont Preparatory School in Old Windsor, Berkshire has taken part in the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge which is run by the UK Mathematics Trust for students across the UK. The challenge is a 60-minute, multiple-choice competition aimed at Upper School students across the UK. It encourages mathematical reasoning, the precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.
We are extremely pleased with the great results achieved by our SJB boys, given that the challenge is aimed at Year 11 students and under and our boys in year 6, 7 and 8 compete well out of year group.
