Applying to teach in a Jesuit School
St John’s Beaumont School is seeking to appoint a volunteer Independent Listener to join our School community. The Independent Listener acts as a confidential and supportive adult for pupils who wish to discuss anything that is concerning or worrying them.
The Independent Listener will need to promote the safeguarding and welfare of children and young persons in conjunction with the Schools safeguarding team, led by the DSL.
This is a voluntary role within the St John’s Beaumont community and will be recruited in line with Standard 14 of the National Minimum Standards.

The role of the Science Technician is important in the life of St John’s. Successful discharging of this role allows for highly effective teaching in class and excellent pupil outcomes. The successful candidate will display an enthusiasm for science and show a desire to be actively engaged in children’s learning.

St John’s Beaumont School is seeking to appoint a well organised, methodical cleaner to complement our Housekeeping and Cleaning Team, who are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.
The evening cleaners and maintenance team are essential to the operation of the school facilities, as they have the opportunity to clean classrooms and other areas of the School which are occupied during the day-time.
The successful applicant will join our existing team of cleaners and maintenance staff to support in creating a clean and safe environment for all pupils and staff.
Salary: £11.50 per hour
Hours: This is a full-time, year-round position. The evening hours will start from 5.00pm. The School is able to be flexible with precise timings, particularly during the School holidays. .

St John’s Beaumont is seeking an experienced self-employed organ teacher to teach pupils on a 1-1 basis at the school. This is a new position. While there are no pupils currently learning the instrument, there are a small number that have expressed an interest in starting. The appointed candidate will be willing to invest time and effort into growing these numbers.
