Situated in the serene British countryside near Windsor and Eton, our wonderful Pre-Prep department (Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) sits within a highly-esteemed academic independent catholic boys school.
Our Preschool boys have access to the same amenities, woodlands, playing fields, and purpose-built sports facilities as their older peers. The expansive grounds and our small class sizes create an optimal nurturing environment for primary school-age boys and beyond, up to Year 8, when they leave us for some of the country's finest senior schools.
A low pupil-to-teacher ratio; with a maximum of 12 boys in Nursery and 16 in Reception ensures that each student gets the attention deserved during a key development age.
Each infant school classroom has a full-time specialist and an assistant teacher to allow for one-to-one support.
The warmth and dedication of the Pre-Prep staff is incredible. My son has been thriving since joining St John's.
Year 1 Parent
Boys and their families are welcomed into our close-knit school community and nurtured, throughout their time here, to become compassionate, intelligent and generous members of our school community and the society.
Small class sizes, education by specialist teachers and one-to-one support.
Boys also benefit from the use of our expansive facilities with specialist subject teachers from Nursery onwards;
After-school care is offered up to 6pm and includes a hot 'tea' and a range of fun activities, including art, cooking, science, choir, tennis, golf and much more.
Our boys leave St John's Beaumont Independent Prep School at the age of 13 to join some of the countries finest private and grammar schools, often gaining highly acclaimed scholarships.
