At St John’s we run a very large number of extra-curricular activities – all planned with children's interests in mind. For some pupils, their personal strength may lie outside of the academic curriculum and it is important that these skills are recognised to the greatest extent possible within the structure of the school. Our clubs at St John’s provide an opportunity to try new things, forge friendships outside of the classroom and develop existing skills and interests.
The list of activities includes tennis, golf, mindfulness, chess, football, athletics, coding, fencing, art, swimming, climbing, hockey, cricket, creative writing, rugby, drama, rowing, basketball, debating, science fiction, table tennis and more...
