St John’s Beaumont School is delighted to announce the sponsorship of the Ascot United Football Academy for this 2021-22 season.

Ascot United, a FA Charter Community Club, is one of the largest football clubs in the UK and is run by over 100 volunteers, 80 of whom have formal FA coaching qualifications. The Club aims to be a sustainable football club at the heart of the community, providing everyone from the age of 4 to veterans, boys and girls and men and women with the opportunity to play and enjoy football in a fantastic location with modern facilities.

St John’s Beaumont School is very much part of the Ascot community and has a long tradition of St John’s boys playing for the club with great success. It is therefore our pleasure to tighten our relationship with Ascot United Football Club by becoming the first official sponsor of the Foundation Academy.

The Foundation Academy is the start of the football journey at AUFC for 4 and 5-year-olds. Boys and girls of all abilities are invited to discover their talent and passion for the sport in weekly hourly sessions. They will take part in a 30-week program, on the club’s excellent 3G pitch, that focuses on player development, improving ball mastery and individual techniques in a safe and fun environment.

Mr Delaney recently went to a Foundation Academy’s training session, on a Tuesday afternoon (4 to 5 pm), to see the young players proudly wearing their new tricots of the season, sporting the SJB logo.
