The competition, which is organised by the English Schools Swimming Association (ESSA), is the longest-running championship series established by the organisation.

Our St John’s Beaumont swimming team has been competing against secondary school-aged swimmers from all across England where they had to race in 4x50m Freestyle and Medley relays.

Over two thousand three hundred teams from four hundred schools participated in the qualifying rounds and only 130 schools have made it into the final.

We are incredibly proud of our boys to have qualified with the fourth-fastest time in both categories out of all the participating schools!

The National Championship Final will take place on 16th November at the London Aquatic Centre – the home of swimming for the 2012 Olympics.

Good luck to our boys!
