SUMMER ACTIVITY CAMPS ON YOUR DOORSTEP

The expansive grounds and facilities of local St John’s Beaumont School, Old Windsor, play host to a multitude of Summer activities for children.

Tucked away, in the leafy green hills on the edge of Windsor Great Park, you will find St John’s Beaumont School. We are a catholic school for boys aged 3 to 13 with an outstanding academic and fierce sporting reputation. Our boys move on to Eton, Harrow, Winchester, Wellington and the likes, often with impressive scholarships to their names.

We are proud of our diverse community, providing a high-quality education to local families of all backgrounds. The school’s Jesuit ethos is very inclusive and based on traditional values that everyone would wish their child to grow up with.

This Summer, we are opening our doors and facilities for parents who are looking for supervised day-time activities for their children, girls included. There is a multitude of camps available that make full use of the 70-acre estate with playing fields and woodlands.

From 12th to 16th July, there will be a Football day camp, open to all from the age of 4 to 16, run by external provider Focus Football. The football training during this camp will be provided by coaches and scouts from leading Premier League and Championship clubs who will be keeping an eye out for the next Marcus Rashford. To register for the camp, go to www.focusfootball.co.uk.

The Camp Beaumont multi-activity day camp is running from 19th July until 13th of August for boys and girls from the age of 3 to 16. The namesake camp is facilitated by external provider Camp Beaumont who hosted their first-ever multi-activity camp at St John’s Beaumont School 40 years ago. This year, they return to this location to utilise the stunning grounds and facilities for heaps of outdoor activities, swimming, climbing, craft, wellbeing and much more. To book visit www.campbeaumont.co.uk/our-camps/st-johns-beaumont-school.

The school’s modern 25m pool is the perfect place to improve your child’s swimming skills. There are swimming lessons, all throughout the Summer, run by the SwimEngland accredited Swim School HydroKidz, including a Summer Crash Course. Go online to www.hydrokidz.com to find out more.

The School will also be open all Summer for prospective families to visit. Be it for a Nursery or Reception place, or even a Year 7 entry, the school welcomes boys of all backgrounds whose parents recognise in the Jesuit values and approach to education something they wish to nurture in their own children and family.
