UPDATE FROM THE FRIENDS OF ST JOHN’S BEAUMONT (FSJB)
Meet the new FSJB Team
Mr Delaney and the FSJB team would like to give a massive thank you to Marie Mylchreest who has been the FSJB Chair for the last four years. Marie has devoted her time and energy to bring the school community closer and raise unbelievable amounts of money for our charities alongside the rest of the amazing FSJB team.
The FSJB Chair baton has now been handed to Maria Portus, please come forward and talk to her or any other member of the team to propose your ideas, give us feedback and generally have a little chat about the different ways you could help. The current members of the FSJB team are:
Debbie Papadopoulou, Marie Mylchreest, Yasmine McNish, Carmen Sengo Candeias, Glory Nzomo, Reena Pinto Woolf, Taj Man, Victoria Kerr, Lucy Drower, Gemma Beck, Navdeep Brar-Gill, Labina Kar and Maria Portus
The FSJB is busy planning events for the school community to come together and put our talents to work for the good of others, as well as having some fun in the meantime! Please save the date for our upcoming events and watch out for further details and other FSJB projects:

Selecting Our School Charities
FSJB have the pleasure of inviting you, both parents and staff at St John’s Beaumont, to nominate a charity that is close to your heart to become one of the charities to be supported over the coming academic year. For those who are newer to the School, the charities nominated may be small, local charities, or sometimes they are much larger, and/or charities abroad that have a close connection with someone here at St John’s will also be considered.
If you would like to nominate a charity please could you send the name of your nominated charity to email@example.com and copy to Gemma Beck (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Friday 19th November (please clearly mark in the subject ‘Charity Nomination’) and you will then be provided with a short application form to explain why you feel so strongly that it deserves to be selected.
Nearly New Uniform Shop (NNUS)
A reminder from our friendly NNUS team that families can order uniforms via the Facebook page with the Facebook messenger link (SJB Nearly New Uniform Shop). Donations can be left anytime at the Sports Hall entryway and placed in the NNUS marked bin. Both donations and clearly marked returns must be placed in the NNUS bin in the Sports Hall.
