YEAR 3 TO TAKE PART IN JESUIT CONCERT ‘INSTRUMENTS OF CREATION’

Our St John’s Beaumont Year 3 (Bellarmine) boys are taking part in a Jesuit orchestral concert called ‘Instruments of Creation’

Jesuit Missions and the Dionysus Ensemble, artists in residence for Commonwealth Resounds, are collaborating with three Jesuit schools, St John’s Beaumont, Donhead Preparatory and Wimbledon College to raise awareness of the climate emergency and celebrate Laudato Si.

Over a series of four workshops, pupils from the three schools have created their own music, culminating in a free concert.

The boys even created their own instruments made out of recycled materials and wrote beautiful poems about the importance of recycling. Well done boys!
