Founded in 1888, ours is a school with a remarkable history, a proud Jesuit heritage and, I believe, a tremendously exciting future. At its heart, however, St John’s Beaumont is about something much simpler: children.
I have long been fond of the quote: ‘How can you say, ‘the sky’s the limit’, when there are footsteps on the moon?’
For me, it captures something fundamental about education. We want our children to be happy, curious and ambitious; to have faith in themselves, to discover what they are capable of and, importantly, to enjoy the precious years of childhood along the way.
