Registration & Acceptance

There is a non-refundable Registration Fee of £100 for UK residents and £125 for international applicants.

The Acceptance Deposit for a UK resident, Day or Boarding place is £1,000.

For international pupils, the Acceptance Deposit is one full term of fees, including boarding if applicable.

The Acceptance Deposit is held on file and will be repaid without interest following your child’s last term at St John’s less any expenses incurred in the final term (musical instrument hire, trips etc.).

Boarding

Boarding fees are payable termly in advance unless a written agreement for payment by instalments has been obtained.

Grants & schemes

The School operates the Government Nursery Education Grant Scheme (15 hours per week)

We accept Tax-Free Childcare and Childcare Vouchers (CCVs) for children up to the age of 5 and for qualifying child care thereafter.

After School Care

St John’s Beaumont School provides a comprehensive and flexible after school care programme to support the routines of our professional families.

NURSERY TO Year 2

  • Before School Club 7:30am – 8:45am included in termly fees
  • 3:00pm to 4:00pm Activity Clubs programme
  • 4:00pm to 5:00pm After School Care: £70 per term, per day of the week
  • 4:00pm to 6:00pm After School Care (including light supper): is £150 per term, per day of the week

YEAR 3 TO YEAR 5

  • 4:00pm to 5:00pm Activity Clubs programme
  • 5:00pm to 6:00pm After School Care (including light supper): is £100 per term, per day of the week

YEAR 6 TO YEAR 8

  • 4:20pm to 5:00pm Supervised Studies
  • 5:00pm to 6:00pm Activity Clubs programme

AD-HOC Care

  • 4:00pm to 5:00pm is £12
  • 5:00pm to 6:00pm is £20 (including light supper)
  • After 6:00pm late collection charge of £20 per hour (or part thereof)
Bursaries

A limited number fee-assisted places and bursaries are available for children in Year 4 and above. All applications are assessed on a means-tested basis and awarded at the discretion of the Bursaries Committee.

Early applications are strongly advised, usually in the Easter term, prior to a September entry.

Payment & Notice

Full payment of the fees are due by the first day of term – by bank transfer.

If you intend to withdraw your child from the school, one full term of notice is required. Otherwise fees in lieu of notice are payable.

Inclusions

All academic classes, including specialist classes for art, drama, music, swimming and forest school, and classroom resources such as textbooks and exercise books are provided to pupils. Lunch and snacks are included for all pupils. St John’s Beaumont aims to include a broad range of activity clubs at the end of each school day, many of which are of no additional cost. Early morning swimming is included two mornings per week.

Termly school trips and optional school trips abroad are not included in the tuition fees. Additionally, if you choose to undertake LAMDA, private music tuition or paid activity clubs, these are billed separately or added to your end of term account.
